How can I copy a document so that I can bind it or use the hole-punch while keeping the original integrity of the document?



To use the margin shift feature to prepare documents for binding or hole-punch:

  • Place the original face down on the glass
  • Press "Special Modes" on the LCD screen
  • Press "Margin Shift" on the LCD
  • Use the ↑↓ arrows to select the amount of shift you wish
  • Press "OK" on the LCD Screen
  • Select the number of copies you want to make and press the "Start" button on your device
