How do I program my device so that it doesn't shut off or power down automatically?



To change your machine's energy save settings:

  • Press the "Custom Settings" button on your device ("System Settings" on MX-Series)
  • Press "Key Operator Programs" on the LCD ("Admin Password" on MX-Series)
  • Enter the appropriate password (Contact an ECP Inc. Customer Service representative for your default password)
     
  • Press "Energy Save" on the LCD screen (you may have to scroll through the options to find it)
  • Uncheck the "Auto Power Shut-Off" option to prevent your machine from powering down automatically, or press "Auto Power Shut-Off Timer" to adjust the interval at which you wish the machine to power down
  • You may also enable "Toner Save" options on this screen
  • You may also change the interval at which the machine enters "Pre-heat Mode" on this screen
