When should I install a new toner cartridge or refill the toner?

Initially the imager will display a Low Toner Indicator. When this is displayed, continue to use the imager as normal until the machine stops functioning. The imager will indicate a toner out condition. DO NOT add toner or replace a toner cartridge as soon as the Low Toner Indicator appears. (If you are in the local area you can call us to order a cartridge or refill when the Low Toner Indicator appears this will give us the appropriate time necessary to deliver the appropriate supplies.)

How can I program my equipment so it does not shut off or power down automatically?

If you have one of the following Models:
AR-280, 285, 286, 287, AR-335, 336, 337, AR-405, 407, AR-501, 505, 507

Press the Customs Settings Button.
Press the Copier Button on the center of the LCD display.
Enter Key Operator Code (Call us for default code for your machine)
Select the Timer Setting option to increase the time before it shuts off.
Select the Enable/Disable Setting option to disable Auto Power Shut Off.
Choose one of the following:
Select the Auto Power Shut Off Timer option and use the up and down arrows to adjust to a desired timer setting the maximum being 240 minutes.
Scroll down using arrow key until you see disable Auto Power Shut Off option, Select option and Auto Power Shut Off is then Disabled.
Select Pre-heat Mode option and use the up and down arrows to adjust to a desired timer setting the maximum being 240 Minutes.
You may also refer to your key operators manual for further instruction, use the information key on the touch pad of your equipment or contact us by phone or email.

If you have one of the following Models:
AR-150, 155, 155N, AR-160, 161, AR-200, 205

Press and hold the light exposure key for more than 5 seconds until all the alarm indicator lights blink and "--" appears  in the copy quantity display.
Now you can select a program number. The selected program number will blink. For Auto Power Shut Off select 03 by pressing the 3 key for Preheat mode select 02 by pressing the 2 key.
Press the start button (If you make a mistake between steps 2 thru 4 you can press the (C) the clear button to return to step 2.
Now that you have selected either 2 or 3 you have one more number to choose to let the imager the duration you would like to work with. They are as follows:
Preheat Mode: 0=OFF, 1=30 sec., 2=60 sec., 3=90 sec., 4=120 sec.
Auto Power Shut Off Mode: 1=30 min., 2=60 min., 3=90 min., 4=120 min., 4=240 min.
Press the start button. The right-hand number in the copy quantity display will be steadily lit and the entered value will be stored.
Press the light exposure key to resume normal use of the Imager.

How do I get a life meter reading on my fax machine?

Please use the instructions below if you have one of the following Models:
FO-4500, 4700, 5500, 5700, 5800, 6500, 6550, 6600.

Locate and press the LIFE button.
Press the * key or # key and toggle through the options until you see the MACHINE LIFE option.
When MACHINE LIFE option is displayed press the Start button to get Life meter reading.
Press the Stop button to return to the default screen.

How do I get a meter reading on my imager?

If you have one of the following Models:
AR-280, 285, 286, 287, AR-335, 336, 337, AR-405, 407, AR-501, 505, 507

Press and hold the COPY button. Your meter reading will be displayed on the top left hand corner of the LCD display.
If you have one of the following Models:
AR-150, 155, 155N, AR-160, 161, AR-200, 205

Press and hold the ZERO KEY. Two set of numbers will flash the first set indicates your count in thousand, ten thousand,
and hundred thousands and the second set are your ones, tens and hundreds. (For example if your first set says 021
and your second set says 452, then your total copy count is 21, 452.)
